About the Course
The Personal Statement and Course Selection course leads you logically through the process of writing a personal statement. It begins with a discussion of your course selection, before considering how to put together an intelligent, precise personal statement that gives you the best chance of a successful application.
You will learn how to demonstrate your interest in your prospective course and learn how to construct a compelling argument for why you want to study your subject.
The course examines what makes a good personal statement and bad personal statement and ends with the opportunity to share your draft with a Bonas MacFarlane personal statement specialist.
When you register you will be asked to indicate your preferred days & times. Groups larger than 5 can join a class or opt for their own private lessons.
Academy courses are intended to challenge sixth form students (K12 & 13). Very advanced younger students (years 10 & 11) can also benefit from the courses.
