Kensington Park School, 59 Queen's Gate, London, SW7 5JP

For this London Parents Forum, we are delighted to welcome Seamus Malin, US admissions consultant and previous Director of the Harvard University International Office. Seamus has worked with international students for over 15 years and has co-authored a number of publications that focus on the experiences of overseas students.

In this talk, Seamus will explain what is involved in applying to American universities as an international student and how to ensure that your application stands out.

At least 16 of the world’s top 20 universities are located in the US. For this reason, students are increasingly interested in the university programmes on offer. There is tough competition for international students and considerable efforts need to be made when submitting an application. This includes an awareness of the programmes each university offer and how you, as an individual, can add to the college ethos. Seamus will draw from his extensive Harvard admissions experience and share his advice to those thinking about applying to one of the world's best universities.

The talk will include a Q&A at the end to ensure that parents have all of their questions answered.

Tickets are £40 and include tea, coffee and pastries.
