For me the great joy of coaching and training young people is the endless resources for development that sport and the outdoors provide. Having spent all of my career in Sport and Fitness and the last four years as a Personal Trainer in London, I believe physical activity is not only a vital component to well-being but an opportunity for self improvement, exploration and fun. For groups and teams of young people it is a great teacher for working with others and competing. In my spare time I run ultra-marathons (slowly), follow the Scottish and Fijian rugby teams and read about military history.
