Enrol your child at Camp Bonas for two weeks of supported engagement into the British way of life.

The international camp begins with an initial five-day immersion into camp life followed by a series of stimulating weekend activities and cultural excursions. Typical weekend excursions include a visit to Bath and its Roman Baths or an adventure day with the Outposts team.

The weekend is followed by five days of practising what they have learnt with a new set of English-speaking campers.

OUR MENTORING APPROACH

With experiential learning at its heart, our international programme has been designed to teach our international students English by immersing them in the British way of life. The majority of our campers are British children but we offer a limited number of places to international campers. This gives our international students the best opportunity to practice their English with native speakers.

To aid their development, our international students have access to an hour’s formal English tuition each day and are supported throughout the camp by our resident English language tutor.

We recruit a mix of nationalities, making sure that there isn’t a high concentration of students from one country. An initial interview is conducted to assess each student's English language capability, as all children at the camp communicate to staff and students in English.
