A family is looking for an inspiring tutor to support their three children.

Focus: Maths, 11+ Preparation, Enrichment Across Subjects

A family based in Dubai is seeking an inspiring full-time tutor. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching, with a love of Mathematics, and be able to take children beyond the curriculum, instilling a lifelong curiosity and enthusiasm for learning. Children (Year 4, Year 2 and Reception)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver daily personalised tutoring for three children, with a strong emphasis on Mathematics enrichment.

• Support the eldest child (currently in Year 4) in preparing for the 11+, covering English, Maths, and Reasoning.

• Provide 2–3 hours of teaching per day during term time, with some flexibility for weekend support.

• Adapt to the family’s schedule during school holidays, when they travel frequently.

• Work creatively to extend the children’s learning, nurture independence, and build strong study habits.

• Support future homeschooling plans for Easter 2027, when the family intends to spend a term in a ski resort.

• Travel with the family during the holidays. (For the summer, they will primarily be in Sweden and the UK). 

Candidate Requirements

• A deep love of Mathematics and a genuine enthusiasm for inspiring young learners.

• Experience preparing pupils for competitive 11+ assessments.

• Flexible, hardworking, positive, and creative, with a proactive “can-do” attitude.

• Able to take children well beyond classroom expectations through enrichment, problem-solving, and curiosity-driven learning.

• Confident driver (essential) to support movement around Dubai.

• Comfortable working closely with hands-on parents—childcare duties not required.

• Willingness to adapt tutoring plans to different environments, including travel, temporary locations, and periods of homeschooling.
